One of my favorite shows back in the day would definitely have to be Seinfeld. The show that was deemed to be about “absolutely nothing” was probably one of the funniest and quirky shows out in the 90’s!
Well not only did this show succeed at entertaining many fans, it also helped further along careers of celebrities you probably never noticed in this show.
Like, Courtney Cox, who played Jerry’s fake wife on the show to get a discount on dry cleaning, many other celebrities either started their careers in this famous show or it helped move their career along.
Recognize this actor on the left? It’s Daniel Dae Kim, who you might remember from another popular show called Lost!

Were you a big fan of Seinfeld too?

I was watching Seinfeld last night! It was the episode where Jerry goes to visit Elaine in her boss’ apartment. The doorman is the dad from 10 Things I Hate About You. It was pretty funny.

I still find Seinfeld enjoyable and will occasionally watch it. Hasn’t everyone acting around that time been on Seinfeld? Seems so.

I tried to forget this show existed. I thought it was boring.

Hey, Mariska! Lol I never liked the show but I do love watching shows I used to watch in the 90′s and seeing all the guest appearances that are now recognizable stars.

I only watched a few episodes; thought they were funny, but I wasn’t really into it.

Those are great! I love some of these early career cameos. I’ll nerd out a little… if you watch some of the old Star Treks, you see some pretty neat characters. In Next Generation, Ken Jenkins (Bob Kelso in Scrubs) has a one-shot appearance, and Anne Ramsey has a recurring cast part. I think it would be really cool to have a talk-show where you brought on people with new shows (to plug their new movie/television season/whatever), but showed some clips of them in old stuff, and asked about their early experience.

It’s weird that I recognized that as Jon Favreau before I clicked it.
