Kristen Stewart, uh, hasn’t been having the best of months. First she was caught cheating on Robert Pattinson with the married director of Snow White and the Huntsman, leading R. Patz to bail relation-ship. And then rumors started whirling that she won’t be able to star in the sequel to SWatH, for obvious reasons.

The role Stewart is rumored to have landed is in a film adaptation of William Styron’s 1951 novel Lie Down in Darkness. It’s a dark book about a dysfunctional Southern family, and Stewart will play one of the daughters, Peyton.
Both she and Lawrence had expressed extreme interest in the role, and Jennifer even said she was “obsessed” with landing it. But it looks like that won’t be happening. Though nothing has been officially confirmed yet, it seems that Lawrence’s schedule will prevent her from filming Lie Down in Darkness, so Stewart will likely get the role. [via Hollywood Reporter]

I haven’t read that book, I don’t know anything about it so I can’t say who should star in it. The casting director picks who he/she feels will best portray the character, so unless Ms. Stewart is sleeping with the director, she got the job fair and square. (That is, if the job has indeed been given to her.)

Kristin Stewart looks really pretty in that picture. She can actually look good when she SMILES yay! As for acting ability I think Jennifer is more talented (although Kristin has had some good films, like Speak for one), but I’m not a fan of Jen’s looks.

sometimes it isn’t really about acting ability, but who is a box office hit that can bring in the crowds of people at the theater and money, so kristen is more famous and is more popular at the box office due to the twilight series. jennifer only has one well known movie on her resume.

Kristen is shit at acting. Especially when she talks. The only reason why she was just a tiny bit more tolerable in SWaTH was because she didn’t talk until the end when she made that speech. Which was really awkward and uninspiring. And when everyone cheered at the end, it made it even more awkward because no way would anyone in their right mind have cheered after such a lame speech.
