Nikki Reed, star of Thirteen (and I guess that sleeper hit Twilight,) made an appearance in this simply cut yet intricately printed dress at Carmen Steffen’s store opening last night in Los Angeles. Equipped with a bright yellow clutch, black open-toed wedges and enviously gorgeous waves of hair, Reed made quite the unique fahsion statement at the event. Reed’s color combinations were every hint of summery as she graced the red carpet outside the Hollywood and Highland Center Shop. The busy pattern design of her green frock was complimented by the classic and solid hued clutch at her side. She polished her look off with a pair of fringed leather wedges.
Also, are Nikki Reed and Maria Menuonos long-lost sisters or what?! Last night’s event might as well have doubled as a family reunion.
Is Nikki’s ensemble a hit or a miss? Does the entire outfit work or could she have changed something?

the open toed ankle boots are hideous and do nothing for her legs. the boatneck capsleeve does not flatter, but unshatter. this frock makes her boobs lopsided. absolutely atrocious!

The only problem I have is the cap sleeves. Cap sleeves tell me that the designer wasn’t finished making the dress, or they were going for a look of a dress that only looks good on a hanger. The shoes are hideous as well.

I don’t think it looks put together awesomely well with the yellow purse and the black shoes. It’s not awful, but not a hit. The dress itself is alright.

Well… I feel like the yellow clutch doesn’t match and that the dress print looks too scaly. I like what she was going for and that is my favorite color but miss :X
