Some of the most iconic girls of our time aren’t, in fact, real people (though they are played by real people). These fictional ladies inspire us, in mental and physical ways. Here are three fabulous hair tutorials based on three of the most influential female characters of our generation.
1. Katniss
I must have seen a thousand tutorials to get this braid, but I was never satisfied with any of them until I found this one. It’s explained thoroughly, presented in a simple manner and the end result is perfect! It looks exactly like the trademark Katniss braid.
2. Bella
Though most of you aren’t planning on getting hitched any time soon, Bella’s wedding hairdo (sans veil) is perfect for any semi-fancy occasion. It’s pretty and intricate, but not too difficult. No team of Hollywood stylists needed for this, just some patience and this fabulous tutorial!
3. Hermione
This tutorial isn’t actually trying to recreate Emma Watson’s fabulous curls, but when I saw it all I could think was, “Hermione!” It’s a great technique for using a flatiron to achieve curls, and is especially good for those of use whose hair doesn’t respond well to curlers. It works so well, it’s almost magical!
Would you style your hair based on a favorite character, Lovelies?

My friend and I have a joke about how I go to bed Katniss and wake up Hermoine. I am big on the Katniss braid and will wear it one day, go to bed with it, and then take it out the next morning and rock Hermione hair that day.

I like Katniss and Hermione’s personalities. But the hairstyles aren’t really their trademark.. just sweet, simple hairdos

@BlehhItsTu@xanga - Katniss’s hair has become a bit of her trademark, hence why most people call side plaits the ‘katniss braid’ (:
