I’m not sure if fate or destiny exists; But I like to think they do when things go too perfectly and are just too good to be the result of chance. Not that it happens very often, but, for instance, when I’m running late to work and all I see is green lights for miles, I get a rush of endorphins that make me really love life and appreciate how things fell into place just for me.
The little things in life really do make me the happiest. It means more to me when I go to my boyfriend’s house after a stressful day at work for him to hug me tight and tell me he loves me than if he spent hundreds of dollars on me and uses money as a way to heal my bad day (although that doesn’t sound too shabby).
What are some of the “little things” in life make you jump for joy?
I’ve compiled a gallery of my favorites, but what are some of yours?

@PAPER__x__HEART@xanga - So buildings can’t have more than 12 floors? There are plenty of buildings that have more than 12 floors. What are they doing, just skipping the number 13 and and calling that floor 14? There’s still going to be a technical 13th floor. I’m not ranting or mad, I know that’s what this looks like. I’m just genuinely wondering what you were meaning?

Sorry for being naive, but when you put money in the vending machine, what’s the other thing that comes out (besides the thing you ordered)?

@xhalesx@revelife - screw technicalities, humans aren’t that rational!
@AngelAsh_86@xanga - two of the thing you ordered. if the first bag lands in a position to be pushed out after only one turn, it’s possible that the bag behind it will also be pushed out, giving you a two-fer just because.
i personally love it when i go online and then BAM LIFE PLAN B RIGHT THUR.currently, my life plan B is going to new zealand and opening up a brothel with a few wealthy friends, inspired by Mr. Logan Campbell, Olympic Taekwondo guy :3

Oh man.. I’m with you on that milk-to-cereal ratio thing. That’s the good stuff.
I also love it when I need to go into a mall looking for something specific, and I find it ON SALE. *melts* It doesn’t happen often, but when it does.. I feel like God is watching over me.

@xhalesx@revelife - Usually they re-name the 13th floor 12a because of the superstitions surrounding the number 13, pointless because it’s still the 13th floor but i suppose if it doesn’t say it is, then it’s not lol.

This is cute. But I would add.. when you go to Walmart and can actually find everything on your list. So far that has never happened to me. =P

@xhalesx@revelife - yea, usually when there’s a building with more than 12 floors, they’ll skip the number 13, and call it floor 14 since 13 is considered bad luck. @TulleSkirts@xanga is probably right. it’s probably just a western/American thing.
