The controversial, sultry book trilogy, 50 Shades, has become must reads among men and women of every age, and it is rumored to be adapted into a film version of the rather detailed scenes between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. As questions and predictions flood my brain at the very thought of a movie of this nature, I can’t help but wonder who the cast would consist of, and I’m kinda getting whiplash as rumors are being hurled around about possible candidates.

Many celebrities have been rumored to be considered for the roles, including Matt Bomer, Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Ian Somerhalder, but no one has been confirmed yet. The latest stars to be thrown into rumored mix are Angelina Jolie, William Levy and Emma Watson, even though Emma admits that she knows nothing about it as of now. She told Entertainment Weekly:

“I haven’t read the book, I haven’t read a script, nothing.There are so many movies you become attached to when I’ve literally never even received a phone call. It was the same way with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo—I never even saw a script!”

 
On the other hand, William Levy, who admits that he’s read the books, told Celebuzz:

“If the opportunity comes for me to play this role, it would be amazing. It’s a great book…[and] every day I hear about it. I see the fans saying it all over. I would play it. I would love to do it. We’ve just got to see.”

And as for Angelina, well, we all know she could pull off a sex kitten, but I think she might be too old. It’s not my call, and there’s so many rumors that I just can’t keep up nor make my own predictions. Who do you think could pull off a sexy Christian and naive Anastasia duo?
