Kate Middleton is a style icon to women all over the world, so it’s no surprise she made the cover of Vanity Fair‘s “Best Dressed” issue. It seems fitting, since the Duchess is humble enough to recycle clothing and wear a $55 dress to the Olympics, all while still looking glamorous. I think Kate has a fantastic style, and that people are just calling it boring because it’s so accessible. (It’s also too bad her $55 dress, pictured above, sold out instantly.) Unlike stars such as Lady Gaga, who rock stylish but out-there ensembles, I can walk into J. Crew and piece together something similar to Kate’s outfits. Vanity Fair, your call is a hit!

I love that she looks clean, confident, and modest – to me, THAT is how a woman should dress. She totally deserves the title of Best Dressed.

I wouldn’t wear most of her clothes due to personal style preferences but I’m going to admit that she always looks darling and I’m super excited when she wears a dress I like and I find out that it’s in my price range. It’s like, “Celebrities! Dressing like you!” It’s almost like whatever magazine it is that has the “Steal this look” section where they post cheaper selections of celebrity clothes so you can dress like your fav celeb except Kate is wearing the cheaper version and pulling it off like a boss.

She looks like a classy lady, and she can do so in a way that most people can also do. It shouldn’t take tens of thousands of dollars on a wear-one-time outfit to get on a stupid list.

she always looks good to me. Maybe the ‘special’ thing is that she does’t try to be extravagant or provoking. You don’t even have to ask if her clothe are hits or misses.
