I’ve spent the last 7 years of my life in the salon. First as a receptionist, then as a stylist. So it goes without saying I have had access to a ridiculous amount of hair products. After years of trying different products and accumulating a cabinet of half-full bottles of hair junk, I think I have finally narrowed it down to my favorites.
L’oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray
Best workable hairspray I have ever laid my hands on. It has a strong hold but you can still run your fingers through it and the smell wont knock you out. Its been a favorite on runways for years before it came to the U.S.
Sebastian Potion 9 Lite
This styling treatment restores undernourished hair, provides radiant shine, enhances styling manageability and prevents breakage. Best product in the world to have on hand if you are trying to grow out your locks.
Verb Finishing Polish
This product is great for sleek and smooth styles. It’s really awesome for fine hair because it is super light weight. So if you usually steer clear of products like this because it weighs your hair down, you should try this product. I spent the last 3 years working for the salon that developed this product line. I’ve watched it grow from start to finish and I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite products ever. I’m not even bummed about losing the discount I got while working there because all verb products are only $12 to begin with. Verbproducts.com
Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray
My hair is super-duper straight if I even so much as touch a comb to it at all after a shampoo…Unless I use this. Spray. Scrunch. Air dry. Beachy waves for days. You can also use this salt-infused styling product for fullness and hold.
Schwarzkopf Dust It Mattifying Powder
This is my favorite product EVER. It is also the only product my boyfriend uses. It gives you amazingly voluminous second-day hair. It also works as a dry shampoo, but you don’t want to over do it with with this stuff. It soaks up oil and takes away any shine… hence the name ‘mattifying powder’
Have you ever used any of these product? What do you think about them?
