I’ll admit, I’ll be the first to fly a flag when cellulite becomes an accepted -ahem- accessory for many women’s bodies. Until then, I’m doing some research on the lotions & potions that claim to target the most pesky cellulite. I decided to pick up a line of products from Sephora: FatGirlSlim by Bliss.
Initially, I was a little appalled by the name considering the fact that a woman can be 100 pounds and still find the dimples that we all seem to dread. After looking into a few of their lines, I found the FatGirlSlim Treatment Kit ($38) which is formulated to
have you looking svelte with a simple regiment of scrubbing, massaging, and sleeping. The collection of lean, mean, and skin-firming formulas helps visibly diminish cellulite and comes in convenient sizes for FatGirl followers out on the road. Himalayan pink salt and red algae extract exfoliate and stimulate circulation, encapsulated caffeine tones skin, and lavender and red algae soothe— their combination is the perfect spa treatment without the appointment.
My results? Well, I have seen some improvement in a short amount of time.
But as you all know, any improvement can go a long way when it comes to your bathing suit confidence. It does add a bit of time during my morning routine, considering the fact that it is a four step treatment plan, but the results I’m seeing and feeling are worth it. The packaging says that you’ll see results in two weeks, but my skin felt firmer within a couple of days. Another great bonus about this product? My upper thighs have never been this soft.
Have any other Lovelies tried products that claim to target cellulite? What were your results?

I tried the anti cellulite from Bath & Body Works’ True Blue Spa collection but didn’t see any results. Maybe Bc it doesnt work or Bc I didn’t stick with it consistently for a long period of time

II think it’s just a play on words with the musician fatboy slim. anyway I harbor suspicions for ANY beauty products or concoctions that claim to resolve body issues such as burn fat or get rid of cellulite. And I’m not bragging but I think when it comes to cellulite, Asians are definitely genetically blessed. I have yet to see an Asian woman, especially thin ones, with cellulite!

My body doesn’t suffer very much from cellulite — only a little bit on the back of my thighs. I can live with it. We can’t hide from it forever…

i think it does have to do w/ genetics and diet.. and old cultural traditions. i don’t have cellulite.. and it is true that i rarely met another asian person w/ cellulite.
