I had a ton of activity art books with prompts just like this when I was a kid (well, the same idea at least… I don’t remember seeing any potentially naked ladies in my coloring books). But I was never creative enough to turn something so simple into something amazing. The thought of accidentally buying an activity book instead of a coloring book was a nightmare; And all of my do-it-yourself doodles always turned out very very disappointing.
Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t totally without imagination. It’s just that my creativity was expressed through things like free flow crayola drawing and play-doh…not activity books. Do-it-yourself doodles are such a simple concept that leaves so much to the imagination, the sky is the limit. Here are some truly incredible do-it-yourself doodles.

The task of creating a fantastic world like that was too daunting. I just wanted to color neatly inside the lines.
