To me, nothing says summer like a good pair of espadrilles. Not only are they ever-so-timeless, but they pair well with just about any summer-y ensemble—from pretty printed dresses, to distressed denim shorts. And, while I’m a huge fan of the nautical-inspired trend, I must say the original red-white-and-blue look may be just a tad played out for me.

For a fun twist, I like to play with different colors and variations of the style—i.e. pairing red linen shorts with a green and white-striped tee, or, perhaps incorporating a fun patterned piece into the mix. The possibilities are endless, really!
