I wasn’t a big fan of her singing when she competed on American Idol, but I’ve always thought she was gorgeous. Now Kellie Pickler‘s Maxim photos reaffirm my thoughts. A devout supporter of our nation’s military, she chose to honor our troops on this Maxim cover sporting an adorably sexy uniform. I totally want that jacket!

I love how much she genuinely appreciates all of the hard work and dedication it takes to serve and protect our country, instead of just being another singer turned model posing on the cover of Maxim with no patriotic background. She’s come a long way since her Idol days, and I have a new found appreciation for her.
