There’s nothing more beautiful than nature at work — be it a stormy sea-front or a quiet snowfall. Here are five manicure tutorials that recreate that beauty on your nails.
1. Ice
There are few things in life more exciting than waking up to a frosty winter morning. Though the snow and ice and cold are a bit hard to imagine right now in the middle of summer, these cute nails will look the part without melting away!
2. Ocean
Too far from the beach to watch the waves in person? This tutorial will bring the ocean to you! These waves almost seem to move, and are just so gorgeous — too bad they don’t come with their own “Sounds of the Ocean” background music.
3. Sea Glass
These nails are so pretty, and so easy to do. And nothing says “summer” to me more than sea glass jewelry — or in this case, nails.
4. Lightning
Though these nails take a little more finesse and patience, they are so worth it. The mix of colors and bright fork of lightning perfectly captures the energy and beauty of a thunder storm (from a safe distance).
5. Sunspots
There’s something about looking at up-close pictures of our sun that is both awe-inspiring and kind of scary, and these nails recreate all of that amazingly. As if the pretty sparkly yellow-to-orange covering wasn’t enough, one of the last steps is drawing in sunspots. So cool!
Lovelies, would you try any of these nature-inspired manicures?

I’m digging the lightning and sea glass

They all look neat, and interesting in their own way.
I think the lightning one would be my favorite, if I had to choose just one. Mainly because purple is one of my favorite colors.
