I am a little bit of a nail polish junkie. I used to own tons of the stuff. But after years of saving them, I had to throw out most of my collection. It was a sad day. Since then, I’ve been trying to limit myself to one or two colors per season. So instead of having a bunch of dried up polish, I have a collection to be proud of.
This summer I bought myself some polishes from the American Apparel Sheer line in Manhattan Beach (orange red) and Pacific Beach (aqua). But this fall, it’s going to be a very hard decision for me. I am so in love with all the nail color trends for the up coming season, it’s going to be hard to control my spending. Here are some of my favorite polishes for fall of 2012.
Purples
Models Own- Purple Haze / Deborah Lippmann- Private Dancer / Butter London – Branwen’s Feather / Zoya- Anja
Gothic Berries
American Apparel- Port / Deborah Lippmann- Bitches Brew / Chanel- Vertigo
Military Metallics
Chanel- Peridot / Nails Inc- Shaftesbury Avenue Star Magnetic / Models Own- Emerald Black Beetlejuice

I really like the teal trend
I wish I could pull off the really dark reds because they’re so pretty.

I’m a nail polish junkie as well…I had about 100 bottles until recently I threw out about 1/3 of it. Some was old and dried up and some were just 5 bottles of identical colors with different names so I just picked 1 or 2. Out of these my favorites are Zoya – Anja, Chanel – Peridot, and D.L.- Private Dancer. I could use a nice purple for fall.

Having gone through Nail Tech school, I have quite the collection. I don’t get into trends though. However, some of these are nice!

am i the only person that thinks 8$ or more for a bottle of polish is totally rediculous!? i won’t lie, opi is a very good polish, but you can get the same effect with something like sinful colors or pure ice, sold at walmart. if you just take care of your nails & use a decent topcoat every time, there’s no reason for the color to chip…
