It’s been an entire year since Amy Winehouse was found dead in her apartment. While she may have lived a troubled life, most people were still shocked by the news and saddened that the talented singer would never release a third album. Today, several celebrities are remembering Amy and recalling their memories of her:

Rapper Nas was close to Amy, and did a song collaboration with her just before her death. He called her “one of a kind,” and other musicians are praising her talent all over Twitter.

Amy’s father, Mitch, has been incredibly active in regards to his daughter this past year. He wrote and released a book, entitled Amy, My Daughter, and also started The Amy Winehouse Foundation, which helps youth in need. He released a statement about the foundation today, saying, “Even after a small space in time — we’re talking a year since Amy passed away — we are beginning, well, Amy is beginning, to have a positive effect on a lot of disadvantaged young people’s lives.” You can donate to the foundation here.
