I’ve only just recently become acquainted with Kickstarter, a website which provides funding for creative projects. To me, the website has such a great concept. It gives creative minds the chance to make their creative ideas become realities, and share their projects with the world. Although many projects on Kickstarter do not achieve their anticipated success, there are a few hits that have come from the site. I would buy some of them myself!
Admittedly, I don’t know how many successful products the website produces, or how many failed ideas have to pass through before a hit idea comes along. The products that do succeed, though, are very cool. Take, for example, the JoeyBra in the above photo. A bra that has pockets, in which you can store a phone and money? Brilliant, I say! How did we never think of something so useful? Check out some more of Kickstarter’s great ideas below.
Would you Lovelies buy any of these original ideas? Which is your favorite?
Remee Dream Mask: This allows sleepers to engage in lucid dreaming, during which you can actually control your dreams! Kind of weird, but also very cool.
Jetsam Wallets: I’m a huge fan of these wallets’ bold patterns and overall vintage vibe. Made from recycled clothing, these eco-friendly wallets are truly unique. I love them!
JuiceTank iPhone Case: Never fall to 0% battery again with this nifty phone case, which has a built-in charger. I love this concept… I just wish the brilliant mind behind this idea created a charger for Blackberries as well!
Panda Bamboo Sunglasses: Lightweight and eco-friendly, these shades are just as practical as they are cute. Not only are they long-lasting, but they float in water… so convenient! Also, purchases help to provide eye exams and health assistance to tribal communities around the world.
Galileo Tripod: This robotic iPhone holder is great for surveillance, capturing video, or using FaceTime. It holds your phone and can tilt 360 degrees with just a swipe of your finger.

That bra would be great when I can’t carry a purse around somewhere! (And I’m wearing something w/o pockets

The bra is cool!

The bra is probably the only thing I have any use for. But I tend to stick things in my regular bras anyway, when I have noplace else to put them. It would depend on the price if this was worth it or not.

I want that bra! That would have come in handy when I was at the beach playing in the waves, I had my phone in my bra cup ._. very uncomfortable.

The bra is definitely a winner. I think the bamboo sunglasses are a must have for people who go to lakes. I remember always hearing someone lost their glasses while jet ski-ing or floating about or even just sitting in the boat.
The rest of the stuff is cool. But not nearly as brilliant as the two I mentioned.

But bamboo isn’t eco-friendly because pandas routinely starve to death in the wild due to LACK OF BAMBOO while farmers of commercial bamboo clear forests of natural bamboo to grow–wait for it!–their own bamboo to sell for production (not that the farmers themselves are inherently bad, it’s the system)! Not to mention it’s commonly the byproduct of a bevy of chemical treatments.
