I definitely went through a very short phase in middle school where I decided red eyeliner and black lipstick looked good on me. I got over it pretty quickly. But, at the time I was super into “The Craft” and Fariuza Balk, so I’m sure you could see where my inspiration came from. I thought I wanted to be kinda goth, but it just didn’t suit me. I’m not sunshine and rainbows all the time, but I’m not a dark person. Not to mention that my parents probably really hated it, even though they were pretty cool about letting me explore my options when it came to fashion.
I feel like all the coolest stars have gone through a goth phase at some point. Check out some celebrities who dabbled in the goth look, both in real life and on screen.

True Goth isn’t a phase, just putting it out there…

When I was in middle school, I considered myself a little punk rocker, although everyone called me goth. I had dyed my hair black (not a great look for me) and had a strange anime character haircut.
