If you are not already familiar with the website “When Parents Text”, you are seriously missing out on some quality entertainment. Personally, I discovered this hilarious site during perhaps the worst possible time: finals week. “When Parents Text” became my favorite form of procrastination, sucking up all of those spare moments that could have been better spent with my nose in a Biology textbook. I sat in my school’s student center for hours, laughing out loud as I perused numerous texts from parents across the country.

A good portion of the reason why I love this site so much is because some of the texts I’ve received from my own parents would fit in perfectly with the other entertaining messages. I can remember teaching my mom how to text, and know that she would totally appreciate the hilarity behind “When Parents Text”. I recently spent some time scrolling through the site, having rediscovered it after my finals-week obsession. I have to say, the texts have only gotten funnier!
