My Instagram is filled with nicely-filtered but semi-boring photos of things like people swimming, food and cats. (Lots of cats.) It’s basically your standard “twentysomething girl with iPhone” fare. But some twentysomething girls with iPhones also have boatloads of cash, and are able to snap photos of much more exciting things than I will ever glimpse on a daily basis. Welcome to the new Tumblr entitled “Rich Kids of Instagram.” It’s exactly what you think. Check out some enviable shots depicting lifestyles of the rich and young!
Kids these days, with their phones and their drinking and their private helicopters. How in the world did wealthy offspring show off their fortune before the advent of the Internet? Was displaying fancy cars and nice clothes in person the only way to go about it?
Actually, how did any of us show anything off before the Internet? Nowadays I feel like if I don’t take a photo of my food at a restaurant, it doesn’t actually count as a meal. (Just kidding! Kind of.)
Head on over to the sources to see even more enviable shots! [via Rich Kids of Instagram and Buzzfeed]

haaa, i don’t wanna look at these. “kids” aren’t rich, their parents are. i always feel that “rich” college students or recently graduated college students usually just live off of their parents $ while the rest of us bust our asses offf

Why would you hate someone for the amount of money they have? Is that really okay?

@waldesau@xanga - Yeah I agree. Looking at these pics just pisses me off because these kids are in no way rich, their parents are and they take it for granted. They will never be completely self sufficient, like many people that don’t have rich parents are forced to do at a young age. If I were a rich parent it would sicken me to let my kids be so ungrateful

Those guys on the boat are hot. That’s all I took from this hateful post.

I really could care less if they have money or nice things. So that’s their life. No reason to hate them for it. I’m building my own life

Haters gonna hate.

If I were God, I’d drive an iron shaft through each of their pretty little skulls. The red would complement the green of their parents’ bank vaults.

It is really interesting how the ones who claim to be the champions of equality – and scorn any kind of hate towards people for things they have no control over, not only are telling us that the rich did NOT do that by themselves (so it is something they had no control over) but ALSO, that we should hate them for it.
@Celestial_Teapot@xanga - Or maybe the green of envy that I am seeing so much of here. LOL

They have it, you don’t, GET OVER IT… It’s just the way it is. I just wrote a post on the grass being greener on the other side of the fence. I wrote about wanting what others have. This post didn’t do anything for me but give me the answers I already know — it takes time and patience, keep working hard and smart, and concentrate on self and not others.
Don’t hate them for what they have and you don’t, trust me when I say this — I know from experience, that hate will only hinder you (it has me, a chip on the shoulder is the worlds biggest turnoff, for everybody).
Judging from your userpic you’re young, and judging from your writing skills you have a good brain — you have plenty of time, just worry about you and what you have to do to be secure with everything, including financially, and you will be just fine… AND HAPPY.

You wouldn’t last a day in Dubai with that attitude.
