I forget how new the internet is sometimes. And because of this newfangled internet thing, there is a (relatively) new category in the Guinness Book Of World Records. Internet world records. Including categories such as “the most number of Twitter followers.” Which has a not-so-surprising record breaker, Lady GaGa with 26,823,122 followers!
Here are some more awesome internet world records.
Oldest site on the internet : Symbolics.com
It’s the first registered domain name. Registered: March 15, 1985
Largest use of internet data: The royal wedding
Approximately 1.6 million people streamed it live via Internet, news stories were clicked on at a rate of 5 million page views per minute and 6.8 million people posted a royal wedding-related status update within 24 hours, resulting in 9.4 million comments on Facebook. Holy cow.
What world record would you want to break if you could?

Longest time spent online? I don’t mean continuously but age wise. Technically I’ve had Internet for over half my life but I’m sure there are tons of people breaking that record. The Internet has been around since the 70s & went public in 94 I think? I’ve had it since 96
