You’ve probably heard of the PostSecret books. They consist of secrets that people sent in on postcards and letters (anonymously, of course!). But the project never ended, and now you can view new secrets online every week!
The blog was started by Frank Warren, the guy who started the original project. It boasts that it’s the largest advertisement-free blog in the world, and as I write this it has been visited by over 500 million people. Secrets on the blog can be funny, sad, uplifting and insightful. And they’re all written by real people.
Also, there’s finally an online Postsecret archive, where you can search for past secrets by keyword or date. You can also share my guilty pleasure and subscribe to the e-mail updates. Here’s a few secrets from the blog, past and present!
What do you think of the PostSecret project? Is it voyeurism or art?

If you are interested in postsecret.com, look up confessionsandsecrets here on Xanga. It’s a little more accessible.

Uh, you do realise the website came before the books, right? I’ve been reading the PostSecret website since at least 2005.

@daydreams_nightmares@xanga - My thoughts exactlyyyy. Been reading it religiously for years.

Uh, I hate to break it to you, but you are WAY behind, lol…. The PostSecret website has been out for a really long time and I’m pretty sure that most females of the internet have been on it at least once, if not a bunch of times.

I don’t remember the website being the one listed in this post. Wasn’t there a site where you could enter your zip code and it would show the post secrets around your area?

I have to completely agree with everyone saying it’s been around awhile. I started reading it in high school and now I’m a college grad. It’s old news for most but I guess for some it’ll be new and interesting!

This is such a great
resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing
websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It
is the old what goes around comes around routine.http://www.genesishealthinstitute.com/hrt.php
