Personally, I think the fact that these photos are available to the public is really cool. Famous people aren’t always how we perceive them to be, and everyone has different sides to them. It’s fun to challenge your own perceptions!

Wow, Hitler? Really? Just because he didn’t do atrocious things in America, doesn’t mean he’s fair game for being cute-ified. Posting a pic of Charles Manson holding a bunny rabbit would be on the same par, is that next? Some people need to be remembered as the monsters they actually were.

hitler is actually wiping all of the moldy food scraps that accumulated on his stache onto the puppy’s fur, because he’s jealous that the puppy is lovable and he isn’t. mustaches wouldn’t be so creepy if not for him.

People’s looks and personalities change over time. People are multifaceted but showing a picture of a psychotic mass murderer being more humane to a dog than he was to multiple millions of humans is an odd way to show it. There are so many other historical figures that could have been used.

That last picture threw me off. What was the point of this post again? Ah yes, the “cute” sides of people of which we don’t associate them by. I’d refrain from using the picture of the mass murderer though. Even though that picture would be endearing at another time or better yet another world, there is no way drawing sympathy to a ruthless person based over affection to a dog is justifiable to his actual actions.

I think it is good to see the more ordinary side of Hitler, because, what people do is DE-humanize them..but guess what, mother truckers? HITLER WAS HUMAN. He probably had friends, family, and OMIGOSH apparently a pet dog, favorite foods, hobbies, ect.. (OMG LIKE NO WAY, I thought he teleported down to the Underworld after all those speeches and had tea with Hades! MY ENTIRE WORLD IS UPSIDE DOWN NOW)

I read a biography on Stephen Hawking a few years ago and it had that picture in it, along with others of him around that age. He was quite the looker! ;]
I don’t see Hitler with a dog, though. Removed, maybe?
