If you know me, then you know I’m no stranger to anything covered in glitter or sequins, and my wardrobe is no exception. My mom was the first to tell me “Sequins are to be worn at nighttime, as is anything shiny,” to which I quickly responded, “Says who?”

Lovelies, do you ever wear glittery pieces during the daytime?

No I don’t. I think glitterly stuff looks better during nighttime. I love your lipstick shade, btw.

If I owned a pair of glittery shoes, I would wear them however I wanted to wear them in the day time. BTW: I like the necklace. Was it dipped in paint?

Glittery stuff may look better at night, but I think it should be worn whenever the person feels like wearing it as long as it’s not inappropriate for the situation (a job interview, for example).

Def. better at night!

I wear them during the day. Its partially because I’m in high school and the places I go at night(if anywhere) don’t go well with heels. I wear mine with LBD’s or rolled skinny jeans and blazers. I have these multi colored Steve Madden glitter heels that are 100% amazing. I get compliments all the time at school or where ever I wear them (:

I don’t like anything with glitter.
Do you wear your sunglasses at night?

Never thought about it. The last time I wore my sparkly shoes in the daytime it was for my graduation. I did it because they popped along side my black robe. Plus, it was December. (I was graduating from med school.)

I have a pair of black glitter flats from New York & Company.
It really depends what I wear, and pair them with.
They are versatile. I can wear them for a night out of the town or more casually.

@aheartofglitter@xanga - Oh, I think it’s great at night! But, it’s so bold and unexpected during the day, don’t you think?

@decodexmexkc@xanga - Love everything about this. Do you have a style blog doll? I have a feeling we have similar styles!

@LKJSlain@xanga - To each his own! I have a younger sister who HATES it too, but then wears it on her nails? I think it depends on the person’s personality/taste, no? And, no I don’t wear sunnies at nighttime… but I won’t knock it!

@Jade_Orchid@xanga - well, I encourage you to try it. You’ll get some use out of those graduation shoes, too! Nothing like a little sparkle to make you feel uber girly and confident
And congrats on graduation med school doll!

@Evil_Laughter_Child@xanga - So glad to hear! How do you manage to keep them casual?
guest
@StyleOperator - Thanks (: and I dont! I made a blogger and had no idea how to work it. I’m considering making a new xanga for fashion though. From all the posts of yours I’ve seen I think we do have a pretty similar style!

@StyleOperator - Interesting. I would have never thought of putting tortoise and gold together.

@StyleOperator - haha. I was totally gonna start singin’ to you. haha. That’s interesting, sometimes I put glitter on my nails too. Not often tho.
guest
@StyleOperator - Typically I would pair them with a pair of khaki pants and/or black pants. And try to find a nice blouse, or sweater that would match. Or something that doesn’t conflict with everything else going on in my outfit.
