I can honestly say, I have no idea if this is real or fake. Either way it’s pretty funny. Ghetto Hikes is the brain child of a man called Mr.Cody, who works full time leading urban kids of all races on nature hikes. Basically, he just posts some of the more hilarious things the kids say.
Ghetto Hikes started out as a twitter, but I find the Tumblr version much easier to read. Check out some of the quotes below.

lol, I’m in a similar line of work but the students on my hikes don’t say anything nearly this quotable.
Also, I don’t really see it as cruel, just having fun. Usually on a trip, everyone develops enough of a comradery that by the end they’ll become comfortable teasing each other and knowing it’s just that. I can’t say for certain that that’s how his groups are, but hopefully it is.

I think its pretty funny. kids say ridiculous things, and when you work with kids all day beyond all the rewarding stuff that comes with it you get a lot of hilarious quotable moments.
my personal favorite is the puddle one hahaha
