We’re so used to seeing celebrities in designer clothes dripping in jewels, with hair and makeup perfectly placed, but it’s not as common for our favorite athletes. Their styles usually consist of sweat, ponytails and sneakers, but last night impressive athletes such as Maria Sharapova and Shaun White ditched their t-shirts and uniforms for more stylish garb for the ESPY awards.
Maria is one of my tennis role models that looks adorable on and off the court. But seeing her on the red carpet before winning “Best Tennis Player” in a periwinkle J. Mendel gown made my jaw drop. I would love to own such a gown myself, but it would probably take my whole lifetime to save up enough money for it!
