Hunting for guys can be fun, but it can also be somewhat of a challenge. As you Lovelies probably know, bars and restaurants are among the most popular places to go if you’re looking to meet a guy. While these locales are often great for a fun night out, I wouldn’t say that they’re the best places to go to find someone you want to date. Eligible men are easier to find than you may think – you just have to look in the right places!

Finding a cute, eligible man requires a bit of creative thinking and some strategic planning. You may have to take a trip off the beaten path of your usual routine, try some new activities and explore new places. I present to you Lovelies a list of unique places to go if you’re looking for a guy. Whether you’re seeking a summer fling or a long-term romance, any of these places is worth a try!

Apple Store: Guys love gadgets, and the Apple store is the place to be for all technology lovers. In every one of these stores, there are computer-loving cuties admiring MacBooks and iPhones. Stop in to browse, check your e-mail, and perhaps ask that cute guy with the iPhone what his favorite app is.


Dog Park: I love a guy who loves dogs, don’t you? Take your pup out for a trip to a local dog park. Plenty of guys like to bring their dogs to these parks, which are pretty common. While your dog socializes, why not make a friend of your own?


Rock Gym: This fun activity has been gaining popularity, and more so among guys than girls. Did you know that nearly two-thirds of rock climbers are male? Those odds are definitely in your favor! Visit www.indoorclimbing.com to find a center near you.


Graduate School Coffee Shop: Certain graduate programs, such as those for computer science, engineering, and business, are predominantly male. Given their heavy workload and constant interaction with other dudes, these guys would love nothing more than to grab a coffee with a fun, beautiful woman like yourself. Stop by one of these cafés at a campus near you!


Running: Ok, I realize that this may seem like a terrible way to meet a guy. How could you possibly meet someone when you’re hot, sweaty, and out of breath? I would ask the same question; however, a friend of mine actually met a boyfriend while out for a casual jog. Try a new jogging route, or hit up a local park to get some exercise (and maybe a date). No luck? Give weight lifting a shot at your gym. If you’ve never lifted before, then maybe you can get a cute pro to help you out. If nothing else, you’ll get a great workout!
