I’m not a big fan of being passive-aggressive. I don’t like it when someone handles me with the tone, so I don’t dish it out if I can help it. But a passive-aggressive note is totally different. Why? Because it’s anonymous. There’s something about the authoritativeness of a sign that says, “I just don’t feel like telling you for the thousandth time.” And for that reason, we can all appreciate some probably completely necessary snark in the form of these victimless announcements. Take a look. 



Ah, poetry humor. Perhaps Shakespeare would be given exception to use the private restroom, but I guess we’ll never know. I appreciate these notes because someone could have just written a simple sign, but they couldn’t help themselves. They had to take the extra minute to add the twinge of sarcasm.
