I used to love Furbies when I was a kid.

I was in college when the original Furby was out. They were oddly cute. These furbies look weird. Not cute. But I loved watching him dance and I can see where some kids would like that. The split personality feature is a bit creepy.

I was too old and cool to admit that I wanted one.

…I think I still have one in my basement in a box somewhere.

I got so scared of them after getting it I wanted it to be destroyed.

Oh god no…The worst part about those was that you would think it was turned off, but then it would just turn on in the middle of the night and scare the piss out of you…

I knew this was coming. Something new to continue to creep you out. Those creepy Teletubbies are next!

I never had a Furby because they freaking creeped me out.

Why isn’t it fluffy? It’s not cute if it’s not fluffy.

I had one as a kid. Loved it. Grew out of the phase. Then, found the damned thing 8 years later.

I swear to god, it was feral.

I think someone needs to buy me one for my birthday. I loved my Furby.

I had one and loved it for the first bit. But then it started creeping me out. No joke I would turn it off and close it’s eyes before bed and I would wake up with it staring at me. So I started to turn it around and close it’s eyes and I would wake up and it would be facing me eyes open. So creepy. I got rid of it after that

Furbies are terrifying! You’d turn them off and they’d randomly turn on and talk to you. What the fuck.

not creepier than iPhones, but I don’t think they are cute like a real pet.
I had a strange dream a while ago about buying a kitten but it somehow ‘didn’t feel right’, and then I realized it was a robot kitten. 

I loved it’s little dance and how it changed personalities. The eyes are weird though  the old eyes were better

I never had one when I was a kid. They use to give me the heebie jeebies.

I had a Furby ! lol .. I was 13 years old knocked down and stepped on at a local K-Mart by an older woman who was trying to get one for herself when they first came out and you had to wait in long lines because they only had a certain # of them. It was a bad experience but I got a furby!!! lol 

Ugh, I still have 2 Furbies and a baby Furby. We would use them as punishment for our golden retriever (for some reason, she’d come inside when we called her if we threatened her with the wrath of a Furby). 

@LupusInvictus@xanga - Especially if they woke up and just made a creepy hissing/burning noise that made me think they were possessed…

I bought the last version, and my sister held it up saying she loved it. The furby replied, “You no fun.” Now it’s dead–maybe–in my closet.

i had the ones they gave for free in mcdonalds happy meals. so creepy but so addicting to turn it upside down.

I still have my old Furbies, all five of them, but I want one of these too! They are a tad creepier than the older models. Fortunately, though…I like that. 

The never creeped me out before.. but they’re starting to.

Also, multiple personalities?? Now I’m really scared..

I had a furby when I was a kiddo. I turned him off.
All it did was bounce, have shifty eyes, and say MEEE KAAAAAH!

I had three original ones two adults and a baby then i had a new one when they came out and i may even ask for a new one for christmas lol i think it would really amuse my daughter.

It is so not creepy … I find it absolutely adorable!

I loved my furby !! I still have him somewhere… his ear and beak are half falling off . .

They were alright before.  I didn’t find them nearly as impressive as they were supposed to be, though.

I JUST bought 2 old school furbies on ebay, I love them hahaha I used to have them when I was younger and they were always so much fun!!

I hated the 2nd generation furbies, they made them so creepy that’s why they stopped being so popular… however I don’t like these new ones, either. the eyes are weird!!! D:
