My close friend introduced me to BonLook last week, an eyewear website growing in popularity from their prices and styles. Offering a large variety of sleek frames for both men and women, the company prices these frames, prescription or non, for a flat rate of $99! The rise in recognition has led to their products’ comparison to the likes of Warby Parker, the current hippest destination for cheap eyewear.

Some of us Lovelyish writers (including me!) are proud Warby Parker sporters, but BonLook is a formidable competitor with a similar appeal and an extension of styles to choose from.

BonLook is moving on up in demand! Also, have you seen their staff? Adorable stuff, guys. Packaged in the $99 deal are flattering frames and high quality anti-reflective and scratch-resistant lenses. For sunglasses, you can reduce brightness and glare with polarized lenses for an additional cost. If you have a strong prescription, your price may increase, but I am practically blind and past purchases with eye insurance have still been more expensive. The only featured they lack is the at-home try-on that Warby Parker offers, but their eyewear is 100% refundable if you’re not completely satisfied.

I’ve worn glasses since I was in first grade, so for almost 20 years now my opinion of eyewear has evolved from embarrassing to chic. Because most optical stores have an expensive selection, I never owned stylish frames until I traveled abroad and found an awesome pair in Taiwan that I could afford. I’m glad that us near- and farsighted individuals finally have access to sleek, fairly-priced glasses.

If you’re looking for striking frames at a low price, check out BonLook as well as Warby Parker and Zenni Optical.

Check out the gallery for some fancy frames I’m already considering. I SIMPLY CAN’T CHOOSE!

What are favorite frame styles – cat eye, round, aviator, etc? Would you check out BonLook?
