I don’t know about you, but I have been known to check the Missed Connections section of Craigslist fairly often. Yes, I have a boyfriend… I’m not looking for my missed connection, I just like to read them for amusement. Mostly they are funny and creepy, but somehow, artist Sophie Blackall has made them seem romantic.
Sophie’s illustrations are sweet, beautiful and she manages to bring down the creepy factor substantially…I love them.

WoW I would be so ubertastically flabbergasted and flattered if someone wrote that they hoped my boyfriend/husband was terminally ill. Nothing is hotter than death wishes.

I do..they make me laugh.. An ex caught me looking at them and asked ‘wtf are you doing’.. I explained it to him and showed him a couple. He sat down and read them with me after that.. Some of them are so incredibly creepy..
