I’m not sure where it comes from, but for some reason little kids like to try to cut each others’ hair. As a hairdresser, I end up fixing little kid at home haircuts more often than you’d think. So when a friend of mine insisted that I listen to this interview, I knew it was going to be a winner.

Jeff Cohen, a reporter at WNPR, experienced this occurrence first hand. He decided to interview his 3 and 5 year-old daughters after the 5 year-old took it upon herself to cut the 3 year-old’s hair. The result? A super cute, honest and hilarious retelling the worst haircut ever.

The aftermath

Did you ever do this? Because I did. Here is my story.

One time in 6th grade, a friend and I decided it was a good idea to cut my bangs. And not just cut my bangs, but shave them off. I’m not kidding. We thought this was a good idea. It resulted in my mother cutting some of my other hair to make it look like I had bangs… it didn’t work. In the end, nothing was fixed and my school principal made me wear a hat everyday.

The worst part about that experience was not that I had the worst hair cut ever, but that I had just moved to that school. I wasn’t just the girl with the weird hair, I was the new girl with the weird hair. Worst ever.
