Does everyone have that one Facebook friendwho is obviously updating their status while driving? Or the girl who thinks it’s cute to misspell everything? I know I do. And then there are the folks who truly just don’t care. It’s hard to resist… just… correcting them. I never actually do, but some people can’t resist taking the bait. Shorthand or even slightly poor grammar & spelling doesn’t bug me, I’m not a snob about it, you know?But when people start to massacre words or write a sentence that makes absolutely no sense, I get a little frustrated. At that point it’s just pure laziness. & the misuse of your & there.. that I don’t understand.

it annoys me when “you’re” and “your” are not used correctly I see it here in xanga and facebook.

Only grammar Nazis annoy me. Or when people try to be cool on purpose and write “haz” instead of “has” for example. Of course it’s also annoying when it’s a longer text with many mistakes, but that doesn’t apply to facebook status updates.

@Awake_My_Soul420@xanga - We all make some mistakes, but I agree. Blatant misspelling and poor grammar frustrates me, too!

its weird that we were all still able to decipher what was written. but i guess thats why theres spell check!
