I’ll admit it, even though I promise myself to stay safe in the sun, I find myself slathering on the SPF 15 in hopes of getting that rich summer glow. Even though the glow is often hindered by a sunburn, I have gone out plenty of times and faced the wrath of the hot summer sun.

I have finally learned my lesson from my most recent sun bathing mistake: It really isn’t any fun staying up for two days straight because you burnt your ENTIRE front side. Because of this, I have found a couple of amazing products that will help with sunburns!

1. FOR YOUR FACE

Product Description:

Neutrogena® Ultra Gentle Soothing Cream is a soothing daily moisturizer specially formulated for even the most sensitive skin. It’s clinically proven to instantly calm and soothe skin while visibly reducing redness. Formulated with chamomile and feverfew, it strengthens skin’s moisture barrier so it’s less sensitive after just one week of use. Skin is left smoother, more supple, and healthier looking with daily use. With an allergy tested fragrance uniquely developed for sensitive skin, skin is left feeling calmer, softer and smoother.

I’ve tried numerous products to cure the burning of excessive sun exposure and none of them have working like this cream. It goes on cold and provides almost instant relief while moisturizing the heck out of your skin!

2. FOR YOUR BODY

Product Description:

Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Moisturizers will quench your thirsty skin and help smooth, revitalize and nourish sun-drenched skin. Infused with nourishing ingredients such as aloe vera, cocoa, shea and mango butters, these moisturizers are great for everyday use.

I don’t even know where to start raving about this item. It has the most delicious coconut smell and goes on THICK, thus making it impossible for your sunburn to dry out. I swear by this after-sun product — I have used it on my chest, shoulders, legs, and back. It ends up making your skin feel extremely soft, too!
