Runway makeup is awesome. Even though most of it is too flashy for everyday wear, watching makeup trends from the runway is a great tool for learning what is in season. Pinterest and Tumblr never fail to provide me with unlimited photos of runway makeup from past and current seasons.

I thought I might adapt some of these looks for night time wear, but I’m going to be honest — I never go out. I’m a homebody who sticks her regular beauty practices. The only variation in my makeup routine is red lipstick or no red lipstick. That’s it. This could be another reason why I love to look at runway makeup… to me it’s fantasy beauty.
