Ever have a moment when you say something, then instantly wish you could take it back? Maybe you wanted to phrase it differently, throw in some fancy vocabulary, or just not say anything at all. These moments happen to all of us, but fortunately nobody is recording us, hanging on to our every word in hopes that we’ll say something memorable. Celebrities, though, are not as lucky.

When an actor or musician says something that is just plain ridiculous, chances are good that someone will overhear. The silly mispronunciation or poor vocabulary choice is not forgotten, but instead shared with many people. This makes me feel a bit bad for celebrities, because I certainly wouldn’t want the ridiculous things I say to be put on the Internet for the world to see. However, some of these quotes are just too funny to be ignored. I’ve compiled a bunch of my favorites into the gallery below, and hope that you get as much of a laugh out of them as I did!
