Serious music connoisseurs often accuse mainstream pop songs of all sounding the same. I worked in a record store for six years and still disagree with that idea, but I will admit that most of them do flow well together when mixed properly. One DJ seems to agree with me, and has mashed up nearly every pop hit from the past year into a dance floor-worthy song. Perk your ears up this morning by listening to it here!
That wasn’t exactly a coffee substitute, but it did have me bouncing along in my pajamas. This probably deserves a place on a workout mix CD! [via Buzzfeed]
What did you think of this mashup?

Let this be a reminder of why I stopped listening to pop music after high school.

It makes me seriously weep for my generation’s taste in music. Sorry -__-

@Rebekka Wilkinson@facebook - do you listen to DJ Earworms year end mash-ups? they are quite good

I like DJ Earworm’s pop mashes. My favorite one is from 2010. So yeah, I liked this one, but I honestly haven’t heard any of these songs in their entirety. I don’t listen to the radio and I don’t download songs unless I LOVEEEE them.

Eh…there’s definitely potential, but it kind of feels like a whole array of mash-ups played together, not one cohesive one. I’mma go look up some better mash-ups to listen to now :3

Too much sound changing in the songs. They dont even sound like the originals

Ergh, not a good mash up and the voices were altered and not for better. I second (or third) the DJ Earworm thing.
