Just two weeks after the birth of his first daughter, Jack Osbourne was diagnosed with the auto-immune disease multiple sclerosis. The son of Ozzy and Sharon, just 26 years old, was given the news after nearly going blind in one of his eyes.

Jack told People Magazine,

I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, ‘Why now?’ I’ve got a family and that’s what’s supposed to be the most important thing.

The disease affects 400,000 people in the US and over 2.5 million people worldwide. And although it’s not by choice, Jack is bringing a lot of awareness to a disease that has sometimes devastating affects. And while some people can go through so much, there is a chance that symptoms may diminish and could be left to just tingling in some areas of the body.

Whatever happens, Jack’s support system is very much behind him. Sharon said in an interview, “He is so strong and so positive. And, yes, my son will conquer!”

Luckily for Jack, his family is able to easily finance his treatments and medicines. Hopefully, this will be enough to keep Jack healthy and energetic to help in raising baby Pearl.

Lovelies, do you know anyone with MS? How has it affected their or your life?
