Looks like fashion house Mulberry is taking a cue from all the mourning pouring in for Maurice Sendak (may he rest in peace) and his children’s-lit masterpiece, Where The Wild Things Are. See the gallery below for more of the ad campaign.
I’m absolutely loving the whimsicalness of this entire campaign. Unless you were born in a box (or your parents didn’t believe in magical creatures) then it should be easy to guess what the ads are using for the background. The gorgeous models, clothes, shoes and bags with a backdrop of big furry monsters with claws, hiding to keep the focus on the models. It’s like my childhood and adulthood have meshed with each other to create the perfect mix of bold fashion and youthful fun.
Lovelies, what do you think of the Mulberry ads? Do they reflect well on the books?

They’re kind of boring/oddly sexual. It’s weird. I wanted to like these.
