Just a lil’ post to give you some inspiration for a day of summer crafting
Above: Calendar made of paint samples+picture frame.
Great for traveling in the summer-just dump the towels in the wash when you get home!
Cut out a shape to put over a camera lens to create an awesome filter for pictures.
Party-sized lawn Twister, made with lawn marking pant and a bucket as stencil.
Mix Elmer’s glue with food coloring to paint onto anything glass to create a seaglass effect when dry.
Which DIY inspires you the most?

I love the last one – I’ll have to do some more research on that to see exactly how to do that – also, the picture frame paint sample calendar is cute but unfortunately its too small for everything I’ve got to do!

The 5th one is just so totally awesome. Who would have thought that just with a little glue and food coloring you could make something so beautiful. Did you have problem with runs or streaks? Do you use paste or liquid food coloring? I was wondering if I could use the new neon liquid food coloring, surely it would make some awesome effects.

I tried the Elmers glue and food coloring idea…..EPIC FAIL! Had to scrape it all off! Clearly some details missed in the instruction that I was not able to assess.

The glue and food coloring works! You just HAVE to use a stuff bristle brush and make multiple layers. It turned out beautiful. Also, use waaaay more glue than food coloring.
