I was never a movie buff. For some reason I had a handful of movies I watched as a kid, over and over, and the rest just passed me by. My boyfriend is a film nut, and when we got together, he took it upon himself to catch me up on “the classics,” movies like Se7en and Silence Of The Lambs. I just had never gotten around to seeing these movies, and now (at 25) I’m really glad I finally watched them! These and other must-see titles like The Big Lebowski and Rosemary’s Baby (and tons more) have been reimagined as pages from a children’s book by artist Josh Cooley. Take a look at these super-cool interpretations of famous scenes below.
Ugh, The Graduate. I think I could watch this movie once a week. It’s just sexy and funny and who doesn’t love Dustin Hoffman? All of these “stills” of the most iconic moments in well-known films fill me with the nostalgia I get from watching the whole movie. Check out more funny frames in the gallery, and see the rest at Buzzfeed. You can buy his prints here.
What do you think of these reimagined film scenes?
