@clumsyandunaware@xanga - I was just gonna say St. Elmo’s Fire, too… which I watched in its entirety recently. Kinda boring :/ Although Rob Lowe… That man could still get it!
I don’t think these couples seem too surprising to me. They all mesh well in some way (yes, even Michael Jackson and Brooke Shields).

@pick_my_friggin_nose@xanga - OMG, I couldn’t even see Rob Lowe in St. Elmo’s Fire. All my attention was on Judd Nelson and Andrew McCarthy. I just can not resist a writer or the typical bad boy. Lol, I liked the film a little more than I anticipated. But it still can’t hold a candle to Pretty in Pink, 16 Candles, or the Breakfast Club.
