Dear Photograph was created when 22 year-old Taylor Jones was flipping through his old family photos one day. He came across one of his brother and him sitting at the exact table he was sitting at, so he held up the picture and snapped a shot. Poof! Dear Photograph was born.

Taylor started a Tumblr and asked other people to submit their renditions. The response was overwhelming. It resulted in millions of page views, tons of submissions and eventually a book deal. The concept is brilliant. Running in the same vein as my love for Irina Werning’s ‘back to the future’ photo set, this photo project makes me nostalgic and goopy on the inside.
