I don’t know about you guys, but I did a lot of high school on my own terms. I think everybody did. And the school office didn’t even know what my mom’s handwriting looked like. She never once wrote me a note. I had mastered her handwriting and she knew I was a (pretty) good kid, so if I asked she told me to just write it and sign it myself. The life of a kid can get pretty repetitive, so occasionally the excuse note is just essential. Here are some awesome ones — some fails and some wins. 



Whoops. Getting called out by your teacher on a fake doctor’s note is a fail, for sure. But getting one from the president or first lady is pretty cool. Check out the rest in the gallery!
