People of the world will have another chance to spice up their life come December when the Spice Girls make a long-awaited comeback. Their musical, Viva Forever, will debut in the West End after years of pre-production problems. Producers are now planning on making a documentary to coincide with the girl power quintet’s return. I am practically jumping off the walls in my rainbow platforms.
But before I cave in my apartment and kiss that deposit goodbye, the fate of this potential documentary lies in the hands of one member that could pull the plug on the entire project.
POSH SPICE. You are now rendered bland in my eyes. You are of no spice anymore. Already thwarting Spice Girls reunions in the past, Victoria Beckham’s hesitation for the documentary is the last straw that every Spice Girls diehard fan can take. All other members have signed on and are willing to do one-on-one interviews about the truth behind the Spice Girls. But producers must have all five members on board to actually embark on the film. This could potentially be Behind the Music x 1,000,000. It may not be pleasant, but the dirt sells. I am sitting in my living room, debit card in hand, waiting. Your move, Posh. Viva Forever!
Are you a Spice Girls fan? Would you watch their musical or a documentary?

I so would watch this! I was really young when the Spice Girls were really popular, but I still LOVED them. I may or may not have had a Baby Spice barbie doll hahah

I honestly think the Spice Girls should just stay in the nineties. I was a die-hard fan and I saw them live at Wembley when I was little, but honestly? Their comeback tour was awful and I would have had more respect for them if they didn’t seem so desperate for more fame. They were great when girl bands were great, but they need to just leave the “Spice Girls” chapter of their lives behind and move on. I find the whole thing a little pathetic, to be honest.

I respect her wanting to move on with her life and not letting herself be pressured into re-visiting something she’s obviously not into anymore.

I would TOTALLY watch that documentary! Once it hits Netflix, of course. Life can get a little complicated if you have no cable.

I was too old to get into the Spice Girls when they were big stuff (being that I was over 12 years old), but I once saw a (documentary?) about their very early days called Raw Spice and I really enjoyed it.
My theory is that “Posh Spice” died years ago and they had her stuffed and just prop up the body and random photo ops to keep the dream alive.

Of course the other four are signed on and ready to go… they haven’t really done much to speak of since the Spice Girls days…
Victoria Beckham has moved on, is very well known and something like this isn’t going to enhance her career.
