The Internet never tires of poking fun at hipsters (and even some hipsters won’t stop poking fun at themselves on the Internet). There’s now a new addition to this long-standing trend: the trailer for the fake movie Hipster Holocaust, which pays homage to cheesy grindhouse movies. (Think, well, Tarantino’s movie Grindhouse.) Watch the NSFW trailer here, and be prepared for lots of cheese, gore and a PBR joke or two.
I’m personally tired of hipster humor, but if it isn’t going away I can at least be happy with jokes like that one about the fixed gear bike. The trailer’s creators raised $3,700 for the project via Kickstarter, though there’s no talk of an actual Hipster Holocaust film…yet. [via Gawker]

I dislike the use of “Holocaust” especially when they are using it for something comedic. Just like I dislike the “Chernobyl Diaries” movie premise.

Do people not realize that spending so much time and energy into making fun of a group of people for the way they live their lives is way more lame/sad than being a hipster, whatever that word even means? I don’t really even get it. They don’t dress like you and they drink cheap beer so they must all be horrible? This just annoys me so much.
