In my personal experience, I’ve found that most hotel rooms look the same. With the exception of one stay in a kids-themed hotel outside Disney World, where every room was decorated differently, the majority of my vacationing has involved a typical two-bed room with bland wallpaper and complimentary shampoo. You know, nothing fancy, just a place to sleep for the night after a crazy, fun-filled day. After seeing some of the world’s coolest hotel rooms, though, I think I’ve been missing out.

Some of the world’s most extraordinary hotel rooms offer unique experiences that could truly contribute to the excitement of a vacation. From outrageously decorated walls, to in-room miniature golf courses, these sleeping quarters guarantee that your hotel stay will be anything but normal. Admittedly, I don’t even want to know what a 24-hour stay in each room must cost. However, the potentially high price tags do not make any of these rooms less fun to admire.
