There’s been a development on the Chris Brown/Rihanna front, with rapper Drake allegedly getting involved in the drama. Apparently either Drake or one of his friends broke a bottle on Chris’ face during a fight about RiRi last night. And, naturally, Brown tweeted about it.
As with high school scuffles, there’s a lot of detail and drama to this story. We all knew Rihanna and Drake probably had something going on when she gave him a lap dance onstage earlier this year. What was not known, however, is that she allegedly cheated on Brown with Drake, and the two men have been feuding for months. Last night at a club, Brown allegedly tried to make amends by sending a bottle of champagne to Drake’s table. Drake’s supposed response? A note to Brown that read, “I’m f*ckng the love of your life [Rihanna], deal with it,” — or something along those lines.
A fight ensued, with Drake allegedly punching Brown in the face before the latter was hit with a bottle. Brown has since tweeted a photo of his injury, and called Drake and his entourage “weak.” [via Gawker] I’m sure Drake will post his response to Facebook or Twitter soon.

I hope Rihanna comes out and condemns the brawl. There are far too many women out there who have no moral qualms about two adult men risking their own lives in a pointless rivalry over mating rights.

Chris Brown deserves all the shit he gets– I don’t know why people still support his career- he’s a domestic abuser. Anyone who lives by Hammurabi’s code, though, is probably doing so without thinking much about the message they’re trying to send.

If I was Rihanna, I’d stay away from any dude causing any kind of violence. Maybe Brown “deserved” it, but if Drake is just showing he has no qualms with punching someone, I’d see that, and run if I was her. Grown men should not be punching anyone.
