It’s time to admit one of my major girl crushes: Kendra Wilkinson. Known primarily as one of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy bunnies and main girlfriends, Kendra has worked hard to make a name for herself distinct of Playboy and Hefner. While I didn’t watch her in her Girls Next Door days, when her first spinoff ‘Kendra’ aired, I became addicted.

Kendra has such a fun loving and distinct personality. She isn’t afraid to make fun of herself, and she keeps it real 100% of the time. The show centers around her struggles to create her identity all while managing her marriage to NFL star Hank Baskett and raising their son, Hank Jr. The show, which aired on E!, ended last year. Thankfully for my DVR, Kendra and Hank have a new show on We entitled ‘Kendra on Top.’

There’s no doubt Kendra is a hottie; I mean let’s be real, she WAS a Playboy bunny. But it’s not her smoking body (which she worked hard to regain after giving birth to baby Hank) that makes me completely crush on her. Well, it makes me admire her and take my butt to the gym. It’s her honest personality that makes her admirable to any girl.

While I’d probably advise against sharing statements such as “I just farted” like Kendra sometimes does on her show, she lets the world know how she feels regardless of how it looks. And hell, she’s funny while doing it.

After giving birth, she had a rough time losing her baby weight, and caught a lot of heat for it. Instead of feeling self conscious, she embraced her body and worked hard to shed the pounds and become a better, healthier version of herself. Critics attempted to tell her she was simply a “mom” after having baby Hank, but there is no way this mom could be anything other than a seriously hot mama and a successful business woman.

Kendra’s confidence is something that is not only admirable, but inspiring. I’m not planning to have kids anytime soon, but I can only hope to feel half as comfortable in my skin as she does. Oh, and I hope my hubby is as cute as Hank Baskett…
