During the summer, nothing tastes better than ice cream or Popsicles. These awesome, icy foods both taste great and keep us from melting into our chairs. Here are five delectable recipes to keep you chilly this summer.

1. Banana Pops

These simple little treats are tasty and healthy! They consist only of bananas, Greek yogurt, almonds and cinnamon, meaning they are low calorie and free of unnatural chemicals.

2. Fruity Sorbet

Though more complicated than the banana pops, this sorbet is just as simple ingredient-wise, and nearly as healthy. The recipe calls for real fruit, and you can use whatever type your heart desires. (Don’t own an ice cream maker? Don’t fear; here’s a tutorial on how to get two different sorbet consistencies without the fancy machinery.)

3. Watermelon Lemonade

This is definitely the most complicated recipe for lemonade I’ve ever seen, but it just sounds so good! Watermelon, lemon zest, honey: what’s not to like? Plus, this recipe combines the two most iconic summer treats: lemonade and watermelon.

4. Frozen Fruit Pops

Am I the only one who ever attempted to make these with orange juice after seeing it on an episode of Blue’s Clues as a child? Yes? Oh, well. Still, these pops are fun and easy and super delicious. Plus, the recipe is all just your choice of fruits and juice, making the pops as healthy as you want them to be!

5. Frozen Yogurt

Fro-yo joints have been the big trend for the past couple of years, and they don’t look like they’re going anywhere soon. And really, what’s not to like? Fro-yo is lighter than ice cream, with all the same creamy goodness. Like the banana pops, this recipe calls for Greek yogurt. But, also like the banana pops, it can be replaced with regular yogurt, if your heart so desires.
