I love hearing about women who’ve empowered themselves and changed the world, setting and holding records that no one else has to date. Take, for example, Michelle Obama, who holds the title for the biggest worldwide jumping jacks organizer. Promoting her “Let’s Move” initiative, she was able to gather nearly 400 kids at the White House to break the record for the most people doing jumping jacks in a 24-hour period. You go, girl!
I admire such women who have made amazing strides throughout their lives. Their accomplishments make me want to cross something exciting off my bucket list this summer.
Penny Palfrey- Longest solo unassisted swim (68 miles across Cayman Islands).
Jennifer Pharr Davis- Fastest Appalachian trail hiker (47 miles for 16 hours a day, completed trail in 47 days).
Sharon Gaytor- Longest distance on a treadmill (517.33 miles in 7 days).

Michelle Obama is such an inspiration to me. It takes a lot of hard work to marry a man who will become president.

@TheMushyPear@xanga - Nah, it’s developing those guns she has to keep the secretaries in line which proves to be time consuming.

“…women who’ve empowered themselves and changed the world,” that fragment alone was enough to have me sold on this article.

hmmm, I’d assume some drill sergeant would hold the record for jumping jacks organizer. Or at least Jump Rope for Heart would hold it.
